The communal cinema was founded on the 25.01.1989. It was financed by the town municipality and organized by the adult education centre and the town library of Herrenberg. Since then a number of films have been presented and the communal cinema gained many fans who visited the cinema regularly.
Today ' after the reconstruction of the VHS (adult education centre) ' the communal cinema offers an improved service and presents itself as a small but 'prefessional' movie theatre with 62 seats, balcony seats, dolby surround, popcorn'etc. ' all you need for a convenient cinema experience. Of course, the screen is not that big as you're used to have in the popular cinemas and the seats are not equipped on 'high level'. And even if the programme is not that various ' it has to be experienced.
For further information and the current programme please visit the website of the communal cinema.
The communal cinema is located in the VHS (adult education centre), Tübinger Straße 40.
