The 'Kultur-Trio' the weekly cultural site which provides all events of the musicschool, the town library and the adult education centre. It is available in the gazette. (only in German language).
Town Library
The Herrenberg Town Library is housed in the historical and superbly restored Court Granary.
It is a service facility of the town Herrenberg for its citizens.
The town library with about 50 000 media items is a place, where you can relax, collect new ideas, recover and meet new friends.
Informative nonfiction. training and education, fiction, children and youngsters literature, music CDs, movies, audio books, PC games, language courses, magazines, foreign language media ' these are the current media for young and old people.
For special inquiries the access to the internet is provided. Furthermore the town library offers more: area for exhibitions, information centre with brochures, public online workstations, for older and disabled persons the so called 'Buchmobil', interlending of fiction and technical literature, or a gift certificate in case you need a special gift for a good friend.
Guided tours through the library, picture book cinemas and media packages are offerd to schools and kindergarten.
Regular events for children and for adults take place in the town library.
