Motor vehicle registration and de-registration

For registration or de-registration of any kind of motor vehicle you have to contact the district administration office ('Landratsamt') in Böblingen or the agency in Herrenberg:

To register a motor vehicle you have to provide a valid insurance card from your insurance company. A number of insurance companies provide

this service online.

City-Bus

With the City Bus Line Herrenberg and a number of bus and railway connections, a local traffic platform has been created at the ZOB (central bus station) in Herrenberg.

The S1 from direction Stuttgart, the 'Ammertalbahn' from direction Tübingen and the regional railway from direction Horb as well as all the bus lines from the districts Altensteig/Nagold, Wildberg, Calw, Bondorf, Entringen and Tailfingen, lead to the ZOB (central bus station) in Herrenberg. All this lines are integrated in the City Bus System.

The four City Bus routes as well as the local traffic are connected with each other.

The timetable of the city bus line had been extended and two comfortable and modern new busses were purchased.

The 'City Bus Herrenberg' and the 'VVS Verkehrs- und Tarifverbund Stuttgart GmbH' are cooperating partners.
