Welcome to Herrenberg. We are looking forward to helping you establish utility service and providing you with information on important services.

Within a week after moving in your new domicile,it is legally obligated that you register yourself in Herrenberg. You can apply for registration at the citizens' office in Herrenberg, Marktplatz 1, or directly at the district office of the part of the town where you live.

Requirements

• the completed and signed registration form The registration form is available at the citizen's office or the district offices. Note: Please think about that you have to submit a copy of the identity card or passport and birth certificate of all persons to be registered

Your personal appearance at the citizen's office of the town Herrenberg or your district office, is essential to enter your new address in your passport.

Deregistration

In case of moving within the inland a deregistration at the citizen's office, Herrenberg, is not necessary.

In case of moving abroad a deregistration is required. The deregistration in written can be conducted either at the citizen's office in Herrenberg or at the district offices.

Change of address

If you change your address (move within Herrenberg) it is obligatory acc. German Law to inform the citizen's office in Herrenberg, or a district office in writing about your change of address. To enter the new address in your passport you personal appearance at one of the mentioned institutions is necessary.
