GaeuMed ' Partnership for Healthcare
In April 2008 the network GaeuMed, Herrenberg, was founded as a medical cooperative alliance of doctors and freelance medical asssistants in Herrenberg and surroundings.
Subject to the Medical Association's Professional Code of Conduct (§23 bBO) the participating doctors work with the prior aim to improve the quality of medical care for patients and the cooperation between the particular medical divisions.
Humanity, sense of responsibility as well as medical and social capacity are the basic principles all members obligate themselves.
The intention of this partnership is a high-quality and efficient patient care by assurance of the ambulatory care structure. To meet this requirement all members commit themselves to a practicing quality management, that is, QM (quality management)-certification and support of a common complaint- and fault management.
The objectives will be achieved by:
- a close network of the particular doctors offices by cooperation of family doctors and specialists, hospitals and health insurance companies.
- regular exchange of information in the context of structured quality circles with further education on the medical, healthcare and economic sector.
- patient-oriented information events in Herrenberg and surroundings with the goal to procure a health-conscious provision and a healthy mode of life.
