Herrenberg is very conveniently located in terms of traffic. It is only 36 km from Stuttgart and18 km from Tuebingen and can be reached quickly and easily.
National roads B 14 and B 28 form a junction at Herrenberg and the A 18 from Stuttgart to Lake Constance passes close to then town. Herrenberg is also on the Stuttgart-Singen-Zurich railway line.
In addition there are bus services to surrounding towns and villages. Herrenberg is only 37 km by motorway from Stuttgart International Airport. The airport departure lounge is less 40 minutes away by rail (change at Rohr).
Herrenberg is also connected by this railway line to the Stuttgart transport network and there are half-hourly connections from Stuttgart and the entire greater Stuttgart region.
